Summer Yard Sale

We put the ‘fun’ into ‘fundraising!

It’s Yard Sale Time!! Clean out your clutter and support the church!! 

Summer is here and that means Yard Sale Season!! Time to clean out your clutter (you know you need to do it anyway!) Drop stuff off on the Summit House porch anytime. If it’s too big to fit in your car, contact us at yardsale@uucharlottesville.org to arrange pick up. We love furniture, household goods, art, jewelry, decorative items, toys, sports equipment, household goods, etc. We will not be taking clothing or books but can suggest awesome alternative places for those items.

Please join us any Tuesday or Saturday 10am-noon while we have fun going through stuff, sometimes trying to figure out what it is, making up prices, and getting to know each other. If you are new to church and want to meet a great bunch of people, it’s a great low stress/low commitment activity.  

Things we need:

• cardboard boxes 
• heavy duty plastic zippered bags (that blankets & sheets come in)
• Gardeners! start thinking about plants we could sell 
• Bring us your stuff!! 

And a shoutout to anyone who has a truck! We are always in need of help to get big stuff to the church for the sale. Please let us know if you can provide any size truck.
