Thank You for Another Wonderful Summer Yard Sale!

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, shopped, and helped make our August Yard Sale a success! The Yard Sale is the largest fundraiser for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charlottesville, but its impact goes far beyond the funds it raises. It is also a wonderful community partnership, bringing together our congregation, UVA students, and neighbors from across Charlottesville. As our congregation president noted in her August 2026 report, the sale offers a chance to welcome people into our space, connect with our wider community, and share the warmth and spirit of UUCville.

From months of collecting donations and weeks of sorting and pricing to the many hands that make the big day possible, this event is a true labor of love. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated Yard Sale team and to everyone who contributes their time, treasures, and enthusiasm each year.

Thank you for helping us build community through love in action. We look forward to seeing you again next August!
