Each year we partner with Ebenezer Baptist Church to provide a Thanksgiving Feast for those in need. In addition, this year, Ebenezer has responded to the Families-to-Families program in the Albemarle County Schools to provide cleaning products to families identified by school staff as being in need.

We decided we would ask our congregation to also provide cleaning supplies to the families of Stone Robinson School (25 families). Ebenezer creates Feast Baskets from donations. They ask for canned / boxed staples such as: green beans, turkey stuffing, canned yams, canned crushed pineapple, canned milk, brown sugar, boxed mac’n’cheese, canned gravy, cranberry sauce and cake mix.

The cleaning supplies for Stone Robinson could include: laundry detergent, bleach, spray cleaner, bath soap, bar soap, dish detergent, trash bags, toothpaste/toothbrush, toilet paper and paper towels.

Please bring your donations to the Edgewood Lane Entry of church. (Donations by check-make payable to UCville with “Thanksgiving” in the memo line.) Deadline for donations: November 13.
