FOOD PANTRY

UUCville Food PantryWe are the Food Distribution Center for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charlottesville (UUCville) located at 717 Rugby Road, Charlottesville VA 22901. We are funded through generous donations from our congregation members and friends.

UUCville’s regular food distribution day is the 1st Friday of the month from 9 AM to 10 AM. There are no forms to fill out, and food is available on a first-come basis.

How to get your FREE groceries on First Friday Food Pantry day

1. Sign in at our Summit House Parking Lot (703 Rugby Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901) starting at 8:00 am. We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Afterward, we may ask you to park in our Congregation’s parking lot located on Edgewood Lane/Fendall Ave and we will direct you back to the distribution at 703 Rugby when it is your turn.

2. When you pick up your groceries, a staff member will show you where to move your car, and you will be able to walk through and select your groceries. We will pack and load them in your car for you.

If you cannot get to our First Friday Food Pantry, you can authorize a friend or family member to pick up your groceries.

The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
