May 3, 2020: Sermon, Chalice Lighting and Music

Our live speaker, Elizabeth Ann Terry, is inspired by the power of religious institutions to have meaningful impacts on their communities. She is a firm believer in the connections between organizing and fundraising and how those connections can be a force for justice and positive social change.

Listen to the sermon here

She has, for almost 50 years served congregations and nonprofits as organizer, volunteer and board member, program director, development director, lay worship leader, executive director and consultant. She has been a witness to congregations that utilize the spiritual practices of covenant and abundance to move their congregations into bright and purposeful futures.

Currently Elizabeth is a member of the UU Congregation of Wilmington (North Carolina), a member of the 360 Council for Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism and is your Congregational Giving Specialist with the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.
