In the pastime of card playing, some games employ the use of one or several JOKERS. Sometime, the value of these cards, when possessed, are WILD, or are set at the discretion of the player holding the card. Therefore, the effectiveness of this card is largely dependent on the skill of the player. We will explore current events, using this unique passage in Christian Scripture’s book of Joshua, and show how Joshua’s encounter with this supernatural being teaches the wisdom of the ANTI-HERO… the wisdom of not concluding that a benefit TO you is dependent on an affinity FOR you.
