The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charlottesville board met on Tuesday, June 15 at 6:30pm. The board discussed what shorthand term to use for the congregation (UUCC, UUCville or others). In July, the board will appoint a task force to put together an event to honor and say goodbye to our Assistant Minister, Reverend Alex McGee. Rev. Alex will be with us through September. Rev. Linda reported on her talk with Keith Kron (UUA Transitions Director) about the time line for applying for a Developmental Minister for July 2022. The board approved the agenda for the Congregational Meeting to be held on June 27 at 1:00. The board welcomed new members and thanked the departing members, Lorie Craddock, Stan Walker and Liberty Powers.
