Reopening Status and Considerations

At this moment, we do not know when we can yet be all together in person this fall.  We had hoped for a grand “re-opening” in September, but that will not be possible.

We are watching closely the number of Covid cases on the rise in our nation and in our region.  We know this continuing situation is so difficult, when everyone is eager to be back together, in each other’s physical presence.  It is a spiritual exercise, and one we can help each other with: to learn to live with uncertainty while we stay committed to the most important value – taking care of one another.

While we await the time when we can be sure it is safe to gather us all in person, let us continue our ministry on-line, with phone calls, and in masked small groups.  We will keep status updates on the UUCharlottesville.org web page.  In the meanwhile, we encourage everyone – get vaccinated, wear masks, stay connected, and stay safe!  Your health matters to us all.
