As we head into the home stretch of the yard sale, one of the church’s biggest fundraisers of the year, we want to thank everyone that has donated and volunteered so far.
Here’s what is still needed to help make it a huge success:

Sunday August 18: The Great Migration!
We need help before the Service to set up tables and then after the Service, we will need everyone (and we mean Everyone’s) help moving our tons of yard sale merchandise from the Summit House to the Social Hall. Remember: many hands make light work 🙂
Monday August 19 – Friday August 23 9am-noon:
The Home Stretch! We will need help pricing, sorting, moving and arranging all the stuff that comes in at the last minute. Come for any or all of it; your help will be so appreciated!
Saturday August 24: The Yard Sale!!
From Now until the Sale:
Please help us spread the word! We have flyers that you can put up around town; email the news to your friends and neighbors; mention it on your social media.
– We need early risers who can come at 6:30am-7am to help us set up the furniture on the lawn and workers to staff the tables and collect money.
– We need Bakers to bring baked goods – either individual items or whole cakes/pies
– We need Gardeners to bring plants to sell
– We need Helpers – the week of Aug 18-23 10am-noon to price/sort/organize the tables
– We need Cashiers and staff on the day of the sale (wear a red shirt!!)
– We need Help putting out and pricing furniture at 6:30am day of the sale
– We need Help packing up all the leftovers at the end of the day (1pm-3pm)
– We need Cashiers and staff to help sell leftovers at church on Sun Aug 25
– We need Bags, paper and plastic
