Gratitude and Goodbye from Rev. Alex

Dear Congregation:

How full of love and joy my heart was this past Sunday. The reception was lovely! Thank you for the many lovely notes and congregational gift of the word cloud. Even as these goodbyes are sad, I was so grateful to have a chance to say them.

Thank you for all you have given me in the past eleven years as I grew, served, and completed my credentialing processes. I am inspired by all that you are. I wish you all wellness as you continue on — may you be full of love as you live the congregation’s mission and vision together.

Some of you have asked about watching my goodbye sermon on August 29, called “Looking Upstream, Looking Downstream.” It is on the congregation’s YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCODGPEZY0LYznXvmAJf_4qw

In addition, you can find a treasure trove of beautiful hymns and services there. I encourage everyone to use that YouTube channel for inspiration when you need a lift, and to pass it along to anyone you know who would like to hear inspiring songs, and to re-post and share. Our Unitarian Universalist good news is worth sharing in this world!

With much caring,
Alex
