The Clear Spring Zen Sangha is once again offering in-person zazen (sitting meditation) weekly at UUCville on Wednesday nights at 7-8 PM in the Blue Room on the second floor. Contact church member Wayne Arnason in Breeze for more information.

Come a little early for orientation to the Soto Zen chants that begin our hour together.  We sit two twenty-five-minute periods with five minutes of walking meditation in between.

UU Buddhists across the country have occasional on-line Gatherings with topical discussions. The next Gathering offered by the UU Buddhist Fellowship is Sunday, October 20, at 7 PM. A overview of the different ways Buddhist practice groups function in a diversity of UU congregations will be discussed by a panel, and Clear Spring will be part of it. Wayne Arnason can give you the information.

Clear Spring Zen is a sangha of Zen practitioners who sit in the tradition of the Diamond Sangha of Honolulu, Hawaii, founded by the late Robert Aitken. Our sangha is led by his longtime student, Marian Morgan, who began teaching in 1999 at the invitation of Aitken Roshi.

We also meet daily at our zendo in Crozet or on Zoom. See our website for details
