Greetings, to all who are a part of the TJMC community!

I am thrilled to begin my ministry with you, and I thank all those (staff and lay leaders) who have offered me welcome. Getting to know as many of you as possible will be an early goal of my time with you.

I hope you will be able to attend worship this coming Sunday, August 9, when I will attempt to give you some ideas about what my thoughts of “interim ministry” are. Please feel free to follow up to ask questions, to offer thoughts, and to schedule time for us to talk.

These are challenging times, in our lives and your congregation and work/school places, made all the more challenging by the fears in our nation and world. I look forward to getting to know you and be in relationship with you, so that together we might find the courage and compassion to weather the storms and stay true to our faith’s calling to love.
