A PEACE CHURCH?

Rev. Tim Temerson
While Unitarian Universalism affirms peace as an important religious value,we are not considered a “peace church” like the Amish or the Quakers.
As we mark the one-year anniversary of the catastrophic war in Israel and Palestine that appears to have no end in sight, today’s service will explore the place of peace in Unitarian Universalism and ask how the UU Congregation of Charlottesville can serve as peacemaker in our own lives, in our local community, and in the wider world.
