Our beloved member, Pat Millman, died on December 29th at the age of 95.  Pat was one of the pillars of our church.  She played an important role in the groups that hosted our social events, fundraised in every way possible, and saw to the maintenance and upkeep of our building.  She was also an integral part of the Finance Committee for many years. Pat’s voice could be heard clearly in every annual meeting and she was a woman of strong opinions as well as a fierce defender of women’s rights. She always put the work in.  She always showed up.

Pat’s memorial service is on Saturday, February 10th at 11 AM.  The service will also be available over Zoom here: https://zoom.us/j/97436988541

As is our tradition, the congregation hosts a Memorial Reception following the service. Please leave a plate of finger foods, sweet or savory, in the church kitchen anytime Saturday morning.  If you would like to help set up, serve, and clean up please contact Elizabeth Breeden  art@uucharlottesville.org
