Rivanna Conservation Alliance’s River Round Up
from 9:30-11am

Looking for a family friendly way to help the environment? The Ministry for Earth Committee is looking for individuals and families to participate in the Rivanna Conservation Alliance’s River Round Up event.

We will spend a couple of hours on the morning of Saturday September 16 helping to clean up  Charlottesville. This will be a fun, educational, and meaningful way for us to show our love for our community.

Here are the details:

We will be working on The Rivanna Trail near Barracks Rd behind the UVA Law School which comes out at Barracks Rd near the 7-11

We will meet at the Atlantic Union Bank on Barracks Road

For parking, there is free street parking all along Cedars Court

They will bring several safety vests so that we can safely cross Barracks Rd.

They will bring all the gear needed

Volunteers should bring water and wear closed-toed shoes. Long pants are recommended too

Each volunteer must complete a waiver. A parent or guardian must complete the form for any child under 18 years of age. We will have copies available at church and at the meeting spot, but here is the link so you can  complete it in advance:

This event is open to all church members as well as all family and friends!
Lets make this a fun and productive outing!!
