We have noticed a community opportunity which we think our congregation would like to be a part.  After approval from the Board we committed our UU Congregation to being a community partner for the Theological Horizons community of UVA sponsoring the Bryan Stevenson lecture on March 28^th at JPJ Arena.  (https://www.theologicalhorizons.org/events1/2023/3/28/bryan-stevenson-scoper-lecture-2023 )

We have obtained a block of 20 tickets at the reduced price of $6 and will be offering them in the Social Hall after church each Sunday from February 19 to March 19.  Notify racialjustice@uucharlottesville.org if you wish to buy a ticket now.

A week after the lecture, on April 4^th at 7PM we would like to host a discussion in the Parlor with attendees about the lecture and how it calls us to action.
