The Board of Trustees met on April28th.  The full minutes are on our website (https://uucharlottesville.org/about-us/board-governance/board-of-trustees/) but we thought you might be interested in the highlights.

The Board has decided to pursue hiring a Developmental Minister for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year.  Linda has agreed to continue with us for another year.

We plan to paint the foyer and the Aesthetics Committee recommended that the Jefferson quotes be removed and placed on display boards until we can decide as a community which quotes to keep and where to install them.

The New Name Task Force will have three names upon which we will vote at the June 6^thCongregational Meeting.  Delegates were named for the upcoming UUA General Assembly.

Nominating Committee presented nominees for Board, Personnel and Nominating Committee for the Congregation to vote.

The Congregational Meeting on June 6^th will vote on the Budget, the New Name and the Nominees.

The proposed Budget will be published the first week of May, to plan Congregational conversations about it during the last two weeks of May.
