Lorie initiating new kitchen helpers!

Revs. Leia and Tim lead a service of celebration with story, song, and music to celebrate our congregation’s 80th Birthday. Rev Leia reflected on our congregation’s past and honored the work of many hands and hearts that have brought us to this day, Rev Tim looked to our future, and Scott lead an ensemble of musicians performing live jazz.

The congregation gathered on the front steps for a blessing and dedication of the recently installed sign bearing our congregation’s new name and an all-church photo was taken. 

Afterward, the congregation headed to the Social Hall to eat a wonderful taco luncheon, which was a fundraiser to support our youth’s service trip this summer with the Appalachia Service Project, and we had not one but two Birthday cakes.
