Sunny has served as UUCville’s Office Assistant since June 2025 and is the new Religious Education Assistant as of May 2026. Sunny works in the office Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-3PM. They also serve as RE Assistant on Sundays and other times during the week. Sunny came to Charlottesville in 2019 to begin their studies at UVA (wahoowa) and hasn’t left since then. Their Office Assistant responsibilities include being the primary contact person for rentals and space use inquiries, adding announcements to the weekly newsletters, updating the Breeze and website calendar, and more. When they aren’t working at the church or serving tables at one of Charlottesville’s locally owned restaurants, Sunny enjoys reading, listening to a diverse range of music, and watching hockey (specifically the Toronto Maple Leafs).
