In some religions, God is understood as an old man who sits in judgment above, beyond, and separate from humankind. Today’s service will make the case for a very different understanding of God that sees the divine as the connections of love and compassion human beings create and build with each other. Many thanks to our own Edith Good for “purchasing” this wonderful sermon topic at the Fall Auction!
