IN PERSON AND ON ZOOM
“Beyond Denial and Doom”
Rev. Tim Temerson, Sharon Baiocco & Angela Orbaugh
As acceptance of the reality of climate change has grown, a new attitude is emerging – climate doom and despair. While concern about the future of the planet is both understandable and even motivating, those feelings must not lead to resignation and inaction. Today’s service celebrates Earth Day and will explore both our spiritual connections to the planet and our responsibilities as Unitarian Universalists to do our part to reverse the climate crisis. The service will be followed by a conversation in the sanctuary about our environmental ministry.
