“The First Easter Sermon”
Revs. Tim Temerson & Leia Durland-Jones
In the Easter story, Jesus’ resurrection is first revealed to Mary Magdalene, who is often portrayed in the Christian tradition as an outcast and a sinner. Today’s service will explore Mary Magdalene’s prominent place in the Easter story and ask what her life and experience reveal about the meaning of Easter.
