Sermon by Rev. Roger Bertschausen, and visit from Torok Istvan, minister in Oltheviz
The pandemic has reminded us in no uncertain terms about the thoroughly interdependent nature of the world. Mutual partnerships between Unitarian/Universalist congregations across the world are one way to experience and deepen our experience of this interdependence. Currently, our congregation has a relationship with the Unitarian Church in Olthévíz, Transylvania, and is seeking to revitalize its relationship with the congregation in Nongkrem in NE India.
Rev. Bertschausen is the outgoing Executive Director of the UU Partner Church Council, a position he’s held since 2016. Previously he served 25 years as the Senior Minister of the Fox Valley UU Fellowship in Appleton, WI, and will become the interim Senior Minister of the First Unitarian Society in Madison, WI, next month.
