Artist Statement:
Adriana is a self-taught artist living in Charlottesville Va. specializing in Watercolor and Acrylic painting. She finds inspiration in the natural world: gardens and landscapes, awash with their colors and seasonal rhythms pointing towards a natural resilience, joy and hope.
Her paintings often contain hidden words or phrases, verbal gifts or prayers to the universe. She views art as a method to reclaiming the joy found in all of creation. She was honored to have her tiny paintings included in the “May Flowers 2023” exhibition at the Little Museum of Art at the Fralin, UVA. In addition to painting, she finds immense pleasure in tending her garden, walking through life with others as a spiritual director and counselor in private practice.
