The Board of Trustees and Rev. Tim met on Wednesday July 23.

We reviewed our current financial position and were pleased to report that we have a positive balance and continue to meet recommended reserve guidelines, providing important stability for our congregation.

We approved new appointments including Ann Salamini and Kay Frazier to the Stewardship Steering Committee, and Pam McIntire, Barb Alag, and Laura Horn to the Committee of Ministry. We also welcomed our new Office Assistant, Nash Ford, who will handle both office duties and Sunday AV equipment.

Building improvements are moving forward with new flooring installation scheduled from July 28th through August 9th. We heard exciting updates about our summer activities – fifteen youth and ten adults recently returned from another successful Appalachia Service Project trip, and our annual yard sale is scheduled for August 23rd.

Rev. Tim shared that we’ll be hosting Sojourner’s congregation for a couple of Sundays in November as they participate in hosting PACEM.
