Get Involved: Spotlight on Hospitality

Sunday Hospitality – Building Community One Cup at a Time!

After Sunday service we all have the opportunity to gather in the Social Hall for coffee, tea, and snacks or for a delicious cup of soup on Soup Sundays. We see friends, welcome visitors and, most importantly, share an hour of our lives together.

There are many ways to offer your gift of time to this valuable hour!

Social Hour

Join a team or form a team to work one Sunday a month to set up and monitor the kitchen during Social Hour. The tasks are preparing the tea and coffee pots, setting out cups and snacks, and cleanup.

Are you looking for a way for you and your family to work together to serve the church community? Or maybe you are part of a small group that wants to contribute together. Maybe you are new to the church and want to join an existing team. Whatever your motivation you are guaranteed to see friends, meet new people and contribute to a meaningful time for so many people!

Soup Sunday

Join the Soup Sunday team to help prepare soup for 200+ people- yes that’s right 200+! Not more than once a month the team cooks soup, sets up the Social Hall, gathers and sets out donated breads and snacks, serves up soup, and after all that, cleans up.

You can be part of it all or volunteer for a smaller role. It takes many hands to support the popular Soup Sundays!
