The Board of Trustees met on Tuesday July 28 via Zoom. Here are some of the highlights:

The Board approved an Emergency Preparedness Task Force to develop a church wide Plan. It is to be staffed with the following members: Rev Tim Temerson, Chris Wiles, Adrienne Dunkin, Larry Moulis, Bev Ryan, Scott Muir who report back to the Board by 12/31/2026.

The Board approved a Church Debt Task Force to be staffed by the following members: Jimmy Gorham, John Griffith and Donna Redmond. They are to report back to the Board by 2/1/2027.

VP John Griffin has completed an inventory of all of our committees, task forces and groups which includes a spreadsheet listing members, email lists, and shared-drive status; an organizational chart with the governance structure tied back to the bylaws; and a README explaining both.

The Building and Gardens/Grounds Task Force provided an update with charts of each item broken down by amount of planning needed and type of funding needed.
