The League of Women Voters of Virginia – a non-partisan group – is looking for volunteers to text voters. From personal experience I can tell you that texting is the easiest fastest way to reach voters!

Here are the details:

We will be text banking Virginia voters who have not yet voted. We will be using the League in Action app and staff from LWV US will be available in the zoom event to assist you if you haven’t used it before. The zoom will be open on Oct 9 and Oct 23 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.  If you have already used LIA, you can jump on when text banking is open.

Your phone number is not shown when you are texting and you will have script prompts to answer questions.
We hope to reach 300,000 – 400,000 voters to remind them to vote!
