Exploring Our Roots & Branches

In anticipation of our congregation’s 80th anniversary, we will be exploring our roots and branches. This week’s feature is one of the 15 needlepoint religious symbols so lovingly cleaned by Sally Taylor during the Glenn Short financed the renovation of our original building. Others on that committee to disperse Glenn’s gift are Dick Somer and Don Landis. Bev Ryan filled in when Sally Taylor took a leave of absence.

Reverend Gordon McKeeman needle pointed this symbol of the Sikh faith to honor Satyendra Huja, a longtime friend of our congregation. It resides to the left of the balcony railing.
