To continue our mission of putting love in action this year, we are excited to start a partnership with the Uhuru Foundation! Their mission, which is to disrupt cycles of incarceration by creating pathways to housing, employment, and long-term stability for individuals impacted by the justice system, aligns closely with our UU values. We plan to continue our partnership with a work day on Saturday, June 13 at 9 AM. Meet at the UUCville Parking Lot. We will be focusing on the outdoor spaces at one of their homes here in town. You’ll need sunscreen, work or gardening gloves, garden tools, as well as any sun-loving seeds/plants you’d like to contribute.
