To continue our mission of putting love in action this year, we are excited to start a partnership with the Uhuru Foundation! Their mission, which is to disrupt cycles of incarceration by creating pathways to housing, employment, and long-term stability for individuals impacted by the justice system, aligns closely with our UU values. We plan to initiate our partnership with a work day on Saturday, May 9 at 9 AM. We will be focusing on the outdoor spaces at one of their homes here in town. You’ll need work or gardening gloves, as well as any seeds/plants or tools you’d like to contribute. Please reach out to Fritz Hudson to let us know if you can make it and for more information.
