The Church will be hosting a Passover Seder on Sunday March 29 5pm in the Social Hall.
A Seder takes place at the beginning of the 8 day Jewish holiday of Passover. Meaning “order,” the Seder follows specific steps guided by a book called the Haggadah to retell the story of the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Key elements include eating symbolic foods (matzah, bitter herbs), drinking wine (or grape juice), and reciting prayers to pass down this foundational story. The reading of the Haggadah will be followed by dinner. This will be a family friendly event. I
f you would like to attend, please fill out the Sign Up Genius here to let us know how many adults and how many children are coming and you can sign up to bring a dish to share.
