Assessment + Vision = Plan

UUCville’s 2023 Long Range Plan identified the need for a comprehensive Buildings and Grounds Plan. The B&G Plan offers an opportunity to assess our existing spaces and determine the necessary repairs, both current and future. The planning process also creates the opportunity for aspirational dreaming, allowing us to consider our current and future space needs and how our spaces can align more closely with our values and mission.

This project is divided into three phases:

Phase I – Assessment of current conditions, focusing on repair and maintenance needs. This phase is nearing completion.

Phase II – Visioning. This phase is underway, now through June!

Phase III – Create Document

Now is the time for input on a vision for our buildings and grounds and how they can reflect our mission and values. Are there spaces that are important to you? Are there spaces that need improvement or a new vision? Join this important work… look, learn, and give voice to your ideas!

Visit the table in the Social Hall after service during April and May. Join a walk-through of the Buildings on April 19^th and the Grounds on April 26^th. Mark your calendar for May 17^th for a Visioning Workshop, 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, Lower Hall.
