Ebenezer Black Farmer Initiative

A Partnership with Ebenezer Baptist Church & Cattle Run Farm

As part of UU Congregation of Charlottesville’s partnerships with African-American faith communities and the goal of supporting Black-owned businesses, UUCville is participating in an Ebenezer Baptist Church initiative to promote and support local black farmers. We made a donation to a farmers’ market Ebenezer recently sponsored and we have now been invited to join the Ebenezer community in purchasing meat and produce from Cattle Run Farm, which is an African-American-owned farm in Ruckersville that utilizes sustainable farming practices.

Orders placed will be confirmed by reply e-mail.  If no confirmation, call me directly at 434-227-6465.

Orders must be submitted NLT COB Every Wednesday as Demand for these Products is HIGH.

Once Orders are Received, We will Purchase the Items, and Reply to Each Order with the Exact Cost.

There will be NO MARKUP COST of any ITEMS Ordered. 

  Pickup Location: Ebenezer’s Lee Center, 113 6th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903, the white house next to Ebenezer Baptist Church.

  Pickup Time: Saturday between 9 am – 11 am.

Payment: Payment can be made in either cash, check (payable to EBC), or CASHAPP.   Payments can be dropped off at the Office, Lee Center Lockbox, or can be picked up (on request).

We will initiate an Honor System that will permit Ordering of Products without Pre-Payment.  Payment, however must be made NLT the Sunday after placing the Order.

Orders Made and not Satisfied will forfeit any future Orders initiated via the Honor System.
