UU Cville will soon begin a search for a new Developmental Minister who we expect will join our congregation in August 2022.

You may ask what is a Developmental Minister? With our interim minister, Rev. Linda, we have been working on a thorough, multi dimensional self evaluation. We have examined our strengths, growth edges, structures, identity, history, and challenges. In the next year, we will be ready for Developmental Ministry in which we will work on specific goals as we grow, heal, and transition to calling a Settled Minister. Developmental Ministers are specially trained in helping congregations work on specific areas of need. So, now is the time for us to identify what goals we have for Developmental Ministry.

The board will host three Listening Circles for the congregation to talk about our goals for the Developmental Ministry. These goals will guide our search for a Developmental Minister.

What Goals do you think UU Cville needs to work on? Goals for our mission in the Charlottesville community and the world? Goals for strengthening our foundation? Goals for understanding our identity? Other Goals?
