Cottage Conversations

Have you heard that the UU Congregation of Charlottesville is developing a new statement of mission/purpose?

In February and March we held 17 small group meetings, Cottage Conversations, with 120 participants. We asked everyone to discuss these three questions:

1. What does this congregation mean to you? or What brings you to UUCville?
2. How would you describe our purpose, the reason we exist?
3. What is important to you about how we impact the larger community and world?

Over the next few months the Mission team will review notes of these conversations and draft an updated Statement of Purpose for UUCville. The entire congregation will vote on this at our annual congregational meeting in June.
