As we move through the “dog days of summer,” here’s an update on how to be in touch with your church staff. You can always call the church office at 293-8179 and leave a message for any of the staff.

Typically, the congregation’s business and administrative office is open from 10am-2pm Tuesdays through Fridays. For security reasons, the door to the building is locked during the week, but you can ring the doorbell to enter.

Our congregation office will be closed Friday, August 5th.  Our Food Pantry and other rentals will still take place on this day as usual.

August 2 is our Developmental Minister Rev. Tim’s first day in the church office and we warmly welcome him! Rev. Tim plans to work from the church office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fridays he will work from home. Mondays are his day off. You can contact him at Tim@uucharlottesville.orgor by calling the church office.

Rev. Leia, Minister of Faith Development, works from home on Mondays and typically works from the church office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fridays are her day off. Rev. Leia will be away from church on Study Leave August 7 through 18. Please feel free to reach out to Rev. Tim and RE Assistant Caroline Heins until Rev. Leia returns.

Sean Skally, Director of Administration and Finance: In August, Sean will be available Sunday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm. Sean will work from home on Mondays, subject to change.

Leigha Rae, Part-time Office Assistant, works Tuesday through Friday from 10am – 2pm. Leigha will be on vacation from August 1 through 5.

Caroline Heins, Part-time Religious Education Assistant, works Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Caroline will be on bereavement leave August 9-14.

Scott DeVeaux, Part-time Director of Music, is on vacation through August 28.

Members of the congregation are important to us and we want to be accessible to you. All of the staff appreciates it if you schedule appointments to see us instead of just stopping by. This way we can be sure that we are able to give you our full attention.

The deadline submissions for the Friday email is Tuesdays at noon. Submissions should be emailed to Office Assistant, Leigha Rae.
