The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charlottesville Board met on Wednesday, February 23.

Business discussed at the meeting included:

A deep dive with members of the Nominating Committee, so the Board could better understand the work of that Committee, and the various approaches it takes to be maximally effective, in terms of identifying and approaching congregants to participate in UUC’ville committees and activities.

A lively discussion around the issue of building closure and possible reopening, as COVID numbers continue to drop, with input both from THE building use task force as well as from members of the Membership Committee.

A deep dive into the activities of the Membership Committee, better understanding its efforts around welcoming potential new members and engaging current members.
