The Board of Trustees met on Zoom on August 25. Highlights:

We approved the July minutes and welcomed guest Sharon Baiocco, who shared results from the congregational music survey. The survey drew a wealth of responses and real enthusiasm about our music program, and the Board is grateful to everyone who took part.

Treasurer Jimmy Gorham reported an exceptionally strong close to fiscal year 2026, with a surplus of over $42,000, driven by pledges above goal, disciplined spending, and a record-setting Yard Sale. The Board voted to move $15,000 of the surplus into the Building Reserves fund.

The Board offered its thanks to the people who made the Yard Sale such a success, including Lorie Craddock, Ellie Syverud, Elizabeth Breeden, David and Karen Judd, Bev Ryan, Gloria Morgan, and Marcia Brecker; to Kay Frazier for her work on Breeze; and to Circee Strauss for making cherished chalices.
