The Texas law restricting access to abortion care has many Unitarian Universalists (and others) wondering what they can do. The Side With Love campaign is working on identifying the strategies and tactics that make the most sense for us. In the meantime, there is something we can do right here (and soon)!

The DC edition of the Women’s March planned for this Saturday, October 2nd, is now the Rally for Abortion Justice. There will be an interfaith service starting at 10:00 AM at Freedom Plaza. Rev. Kathleen Rolenz, Interim Senior Minister of All Souls, and members of All Souls Reproductive Justice will be there for the service and rally. All are invited to join them for a “mask and meet-up.” Email ascu.reprojustice@gmail.com if you want to connect beforehand, or just show up!

You can also join the UUs for Reproductive Justice Facebook Group, and learn more from the Reproductive Justice Section of the Unitarian Universalist Association website. The Association adopted a Statement of Conscience on Reproductive Justice in 2015.
