But They Broke the Law: Reflecting on the Meaning of Justice
Rev. Tim Temerson & Angela Orebaugh
In his Letter from Birmingham Jail, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. drew an important distinction between law and justice, between just and unjust laws. Today’s service will ask how Dr. King’s vision offers a compelling alternative to the policies and practices being used against many in the immigrant community. Rev. Tim will be joined by Rev. Kathleen Rolenz, who will reflect on her recent journey to Minneapolis to protest ICE’s violent and unlawful actions.
Sunday’s service will be on Zoom only due to the extremely icy and slick parking lots at churchThey simply are unsafe and we don’t want anyone to slip or fall.
