As the days grow shorter and we move into the reflective months of November and December, we invite all members and friends of UUCville—of every age and artistic level—to contribute to our upcoming group art show, “Season of Light.”
Light is at the heart of all visual art—whether it’s captured in a photograph or reflected in a painting. In this season of both quiet and celebration, let your creativity shine. What does light mean to you? How does it inspire, comfort, or illuminate?
Submission Details:
- Each artist may submit up to three pieces.
- All mediums are welcome: painting, photography, mixed media, fiber arts, digital art.
- Work should reflect the theme “Season of Light” in any way that speaks to you personally.
- All work must be framed or mounted for hanging.
- Works will be hung on Wednesday, October 29th.
- Works may be picked up during week of December 28th.
Let’s fill our shared space with expressions of warmth, hope, and beauty during this meaningful time of year. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time, your work is welcome and celebrated.
