On Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10am-3PM, the 28th Annual Westhaven Community Day will be held on Hardy Drive in Charlottesville. This wonderful community event runs from 10-3pm this year. This event is an opportunity to celebrate and serve residents in the public housing site Westhaven. This event ensures youth in our community can obtain sport physicals, community resources connect with residents and most importantly an overall celebration of this historical community. Volunteers to support the success of the event are critical.

The day kicks off with a Resource Fair, Activities and Sport Physicals and fun activities for children and adults including game truck, bounce house, bingo, food, a dunking booth and more.

UUCVILLE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!

At the invitation of our PHAR ( Public Housing Association of Residents) UUCville is participating in the annual Westhaven Community Day. Rev. Tim, Ann Salamini, and Edith Good have been of the planning committee and we are looking for UUCville volunteers to help with different tasks, ranging from set-up and take-down to staffing different games and activities.
