Sin Barreras is a nonprofit organization based in Charlottesville, Virginia, dedicated to empowering immigrant families, especially the Spanish-speaking community, through education, advocacy, and direct support services. Founded in 2012, we have become a trusted, culturally responsive resource for immigrants navigating complex systems such as immigration, healthcare, education, and employment. Our services have been especially critical this past year due to shifting immigration policies and a tense political climate, which have increased uncertainty in the community. With a small staff and over 200 volunteers, we continue to provide stable, compassionate support in times of change and need.
