Seeking The Face of GOD, A Life long Quest. This Sunday we host a guest as one of this year’s interfaith speakers.

Dr Aliaa Khidr, is a retired MD who received her Medical Degree from Cairo, Egypt and her PhD from Madison, Wisconsin. She worked for more than 20 years at the University of Virginia. Dr Khidr also promotes understanding of Islam and the richness of its global cultures through a local community based group called “Lita Aarafu”; the arabic term for “To Know Each Other.” The Muslim women forming this group plan year-round events that provide opportunities for interested individuals and institutions “To Know” and share with each other faith-based mindful perspectives and practices
