Wilken-Lynn
Library
The Wilken-Lynn Earth Centered Library, located in the Church Parlor, contains
a variety of books on topics which celebrate the UU Seventh principle, respect
for the interdependent web of existence and the UU Sixth Source, "Spiritual
teachings of earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of
life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of Nature." The
books range on a variety of topics including environmentalism, ritual, feminism
and Paganism. It also contains works of fiction that have earth-centered themes
and even some multimedia (like videos and recordings).
This library was started from the contributions of the Women's Spirit group
and NatureSpirit, and it is named for the two largest contributors from both
groups, Carol Wilken and Cameron Lynn.
